Since I haven't had time to create new stuff, I thought I'd share some old stuff. This one has been sitting on my hard drive for quite some time.
It's an illustration for a magazine article about the history of mobile phones, but unfortunately, the article was never published. The artistic style happened out of necessity, due to the tight schedule, but I was really please with the final result. Hope you like it.  |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. The way you turn obstacles such as tight schedule in your favor, amazes me!
You're a great artist!
I actually wasted a couple of hours trying to figure out how to do the illustration. I even started a more realistic rendering of this idea, but of course it was never meant to happen.
Plus, I think the picture is a lot more appealing like this.
Can't really say I hate it, but I agree it's quite the overrated little piece of hardware.

I have a cellphone collection of my own, though not really an impressive one. I do have one of those bigger ones, but with no charger, I can't really get it to work.
I've sort of regressed, cell phone-wise. I lost the slim/sleek sony erikson I had in a cab. Luckily my cell phone company lets people dumb enough to lose their phones have a new model real cheap. My replacement phone, a samsung that looks like a Star Trek communicator holds a charge for over a week. It's shiny, a little bigger and heavier than my former phone, but I can always find it in my purse.
